On Thursday, December 20th, 2007, the representatives of the owners of commercial places and the dealers signed an agreement concerning a new mode of revision of rents. Since January 15th, 2008, the rents of 600 000 commercial places will not be any more indexed to the Indication of the cost of the building (ICC) but to a Indication of the commercial rents (ILC).

This new mode of revision of rents is favourable to the dealers. According to a simulation, applied to indications published in the second quarter 2006, ILC would have led to an increase in the 2,77 % rents, where ICC had produced a 7,05 % blaze.
